NORTHERN TIER OUTREACH PROGRAM

This is a donor funded program that covers the expedition costs and provides some of the personal gear for a crew of Scouts for a 7-Day canoeing trek; the crew just has to get here!  After the trek, the crew gets a day in Ely to explore parts of our wonderful community.

Do you think your troop or crew would benefit from this program, or would you like to see your council can put together a crew of Scouts that might not otherwise have the opportunity to come to Northern Tier?  Reasons may vary, but may include financial, the Troop doesn’t do High Adventure, not enough leadership, not enough Scouts 14 , etc.  Doesn’t matter…the program covers them all!

Limited Outreach spots are still available and you can pick from any of the Ely 7-day dates that are open on the 2026 Registration Page.  Contact Nancy Allen if your unit is interested.
